Got from the dentist earlier today and my technician said my oral health is much better. She asked me what I was doing was helping a lot. You know what it was? Less stress! Last year I was in a toxic relationship. She will still contact me from time to time but we aren't together. I realize I was breaking out more as well. Realize that if you are in the wrong relationship that it is literally bad for your health!
Preach. Toxic people will kill you and the worst part is they aren't aware of how toxic they are or plain just don't care. Self preservation above all else. I can't be good for anyone if I'm not good for me.
Seriously, you almost laid out the textbook definition right there. Toxic people are nearly impossible to work with because they can never see any fault in themselves or anything short of perfection. So, how can you improve things with someone who is never wrong?
You leave them alone. Oftentimes , you can give off a vibe that you can be disrespected or respected. In either case if a person is toxic (disrespectful) cut them loose.
Oh most definitely. Stress influences our health a great deal. It can lead to elevated blood pressure, headaches, chest pain, upset stomach and is also linked to diabetes, addictions, arthritis, depression, skin conditions, heart issues and reduce your life expectancy. And so many things can stress us out big time, a toxic relationship or friendship, relatives, work place etc etc. The list is long and it is important to eliminate as many stress factor as we can or at least find ways to help us find a balance.
I've experienced the same my dentist is always asking me why I grind my teeth so much and I attribute it mostly to my stressful damn job The rest is my kids sometimes my relationship but 99% is my job now if I could just find another job Lol
Unfortunate to hear that Blackbrah. I'm fearful of getting into a relationship myself, worrying about what the repercussions would be, such as a job loss or some other issue. We're all under some kind of pressure already.
Glad to hear it, man. I have had a similar experience. I now make it a point to remove toxic and vile people from my life. It makes life much more livable, and really affects your health in a positive way. I hope life continues to get better for you. Congratulations, man.
lol tried to talk to my ex and see her at a friend's bday party this weekend being nice. That was a bad idea
