Not playing this game with you. Are the personification of confirmation bias. You come to the table with a set perception you're no different than a Trump supporter. You believe what you believe and nothing else can ever be right. The world is only meant for the wealthy to control and decide how we live and any attempt to actually have a world that works towards people over profits is completely unthinkable and just hippy dippy nonsense. So this is where we part ways. We'll see who is right come election day.
More emotional value dribble from someone who denies basic economic theory and facts about the financial system.
So our system is perfect the way it is??? Lmao you have lost all right to discuss this topic with me. Carry on sir good luck to you.
If you can't even acknowledge facts about it how can you fix it? It helps to actually understand how it works. You are the one who is lost, but that's obvious.
and......... "right to talk to you about this topic"? Negro you could have stopped talking a long time ago when you couldn't even answer the question of "lowest risk asset" or when you denied basic economy theory of cost. You have been comedy from that point on. No engineer would deny that pi is 3.14..... The financial question of lowest risk is that fundamental.
you make good points, but trump wiill tout the klow unemployment ratr the record stock market perf. and thats all the sheeple and low information voters otherwise known as trump supporters need to hesar to vote him in again
Provided it's meeting minimum wage you can't force a Company to tell them how much more to pay someone. The only thing that you can do is either work for them, or find another job. If enough people leave a company, they wil raise wages. Or, they'll hire people willing to take a lower wage than you. (There is a whole army of workers being groomed for it, too.) What exactly do you think Bernie Sandals is going to do in terms of wages for the lower-class? If he doesn't take full control of a Company, you think he's going to force a Company to have to pay someone $30 an hour? What do you think that company's going to do? They're going to outsource, they're going to automate, they're going to pass the cost on, or they're going to take their company to another country.
If that were the case literally every job available would stay at the minimum wage. Even jobs like mine that require advanced degrees could be replaced by outsourcing right? There shouldn't be a single high paying job even doctors can be imported from places where they have an abundance like China and India surely its far cheaper to pay them 30k a year take care of their housing and pay for translator right? You lose production value when you have this race to the bottom not to mention we have examples like Seattle where raising the minimum to 15 dollars hasn't changed a thing. And yes companies can be forced to pay more which is how we have a minimum wage to begin with. That's the purpose of government to regulate capitalist so they don't destroy us all chasing greed. If not for government you wouldn't have clean water or clean air
Clean water and clean air it's a whole different topic. We're speaking on wages. I also said "other than minimum wage, can't force a company how much more to pay an employee" And you didn't answer me how Bernie's going to make companies do that. You yourself said $15 hasn't changed a thing which has been the objection point all along, because prices are just raised. Where do it stop, is the question. It stops when companies give the Govt the middle finger and outsource. There has to be a middle ground. It's also ironic that you bring up hb1 doctors willing to take a low-wage, which you say leads to lowered production value. What do you think's going to happen with Medicaid for all? Would you, in choosing a career, consider a decade of schooling to be paid a lower government wage as a doctor?
Not really. Harris is out of the race and Warren is starting to tank. As for Biden leading Trump, come on now. It was just revealed that throughout his career, women working for him made up to 50% less than his male workers in similar positions.
When gotv raise min wage, sometimes prices go up, sometimes they don't. Sometimes the companies lay off, sometimes they don't. Economics has the answer but please carry on pushing a value system rather than solving a problem.
For those of you who haven't had the opportunity to study finance, (we all can't know everything), you start by knowing what asset the world acknowledge as the lowest risk investment. Then ask yourself why does it have the lowest risk. From there you will know the whole point of it and you will have a gauge to evaluate the other investments as well as the most fundamental and essential understanding of how the economy works locally and internationally. Take it or leave it.
