Shy and New

Hello... My name is Bunni (not snowBunni, though I have heard the joke a million times). I have always struggled with extreme social anxiety and stress at interacting with new people, so a place like this feels like a good place to test some waters.
I try my best to be friendly with everyone I can, and I think its important to give freely of yourself with love, respect, and kindness whenever and wherever you can... I hope to make some friends here, and maybe even more some day!

Hello to you guys! I've been really enjoying the site so far. Looks like the active members are a small group, but tight and friendly. Really hope I fit in without being too awkward.

 

It's some cool folks and cool conversations on here. Everyone has their own unique perspective. Being your authentic self adds to the potential goodness of this site.

 

Gonna be real, there is def gonna be times that I second-guess myself. Even just interacting with y'all here has my anxiety issues acting up! But I am gonna do my best to be open, friendly and warm with everyone.

 

I have anxiety issues as well. The people here will have your back.

Many of us have felt the same way about the site and continue to participate because of that. I have been a member for quite a few years, and have had periods of frequent and less frequent participation, but I always knew I could pop back into the site and strike up a conversation as if no time had lapsed.

 

Really happy to hear that! <3 Places that are more crowded usually forget people quickly, and you never really feel seen, accepted, or cared for. I love that you guys are a real community and that y'all have been so welcoming so far.
In my real life, I have had a lot of trouble connecting with a lot of people, and I have even lost some friends and family from my circle because of my choices, and/or beliefs. I like being able to participate and interact with all y'all.

 

I'm dying laughing at the twenty-sided dice...never called them that when I played D&D, Gamma World and Traveler. LOL

 

Being for real, I think every gamer girl has made the "yeah, they're natural" joke... I am not different.
I have literally only HEARD of Gamma World and Traveler. What are they even like?
BTW, I was raised on D&D but I actually play Pathfinder 1e, if you're familiar.
