Is it me,or does she NEVER have Non celeb Black men on her show,like she does white men?FOr example,i mean authors,psychiatrist,and etc?Smart,well put together black men.Ive noticed that the only time shell have an intelligent black man on there,is when the show is dealing with problems in the Black community.For example,the Black author she invited on her show when bill cosby was on there speaking about parenting in the black community. I just feel that shes in a special position to help get rid of stereotypes of Black men,and all i see her doing is catering to whites(middle aged white women in particular).

That is kinda true. I think though she caters to WW as her fanbase. Even when she created the school in Africa it was all girls.
She had a good reason for doing so. In Africa girls are the first ones the parents take out of school if they can't afford to educate all of their children.

Good points, but Oprah's help is disproportionate, when you compare the one, or two things she has done for black men, when you look at what she's done for those others who were previously mentioned in this thread. So, it seems since many white women got rich by marrying black men, this is the reason why Oprah is making sure she vendicates those bw that got overlooked by bm matrimonially?
I've never thought about this, but very interesting points to think about. Do you think it has to do with her sexual abuse as a child? And, I've also heard from a local in Chicago that she has to pick Stedman up at the Gay clubs. So, hmmm...this may be her reason for distancing herself from black men.
