No considering most people who RUN THE MEDIA ARE SUPPORTERS OF THE CONSERVATIVE PARTY, I would have to say say no
Almost all media is owned by corportions. Outside of Ted Turner when he owned CNN, all corporate leaders are conservative republicans. Note, if you are extreme far right, everything seems left to you.
LOL it shows how desperate the opposition was. In America, "Socialist" is something you would have called somebody back in the '50s if you wanted to cast doubt on them. Meanwhile, their Republican administration signed off on nationalizing several banks and corporations, which is "socialism."
Yeah, i really, reaally don't get american politics. I mean, obviously it didn't work to make tax cuts for rich ppl, they still don't save the homeless, the analphabets, the kids in the worn down areas.. but people still think it works? Tip: Morris Berman- Twilight of american culture Read it. Good book.
to add a quote from the book: "60 % of the american adult population has never read a book of any kind" thats scary numbers. I read a new one every month.... just to add to why its hard for me to understand american politics.
You all lost the election. Let it go already. You did it to yourselves. If you all choose to talk negative regarding our next president, then "WE" the people, will question your patriotism just like you all did when we questioned George W. Bush. If you don't like it, then move to another country or continent. Have a nice day.:smt023
What are some recent ones you've read? Which ones did you like most? I'm a sucker for political and historical non-fiction... and love poetry.
