You guys do okay with the American accents..I think...look at Christian Bale..he was in the biggest movie this year....you can't get any American than Batman....and he was playin' opposite , Heath Ledger,an Australian...then you had Michael Caine, Dirty Harry(Get Carter,Italian Job) before Clint Eastwood.

Brits do quite well in the states...especially with those accents...picking up women left and right.

I feel no sympathy for Brits.

Yeah doesnt seem to work too well when Americans do British accents. It usually seems over the top.You do get the occassional good one. I think Gwyneth paltrow does a good British accent in one of her films, cant remember which one though..Madonna tries occassionally and it doesnt come out too good.

Havent been to the states before, but all my friends who have been tell me they get extra attention from the ladies because of their accents...
There is a British actor called Eldris Elba, he seems to be doing just fine..ladies seem to be all over him..


Btw, I dont hate Americans, its just since Bush took over a lot of people I know have shifted from making German and Irish jokes to American jokes..and I've jumped on the bandwagon..lol. Its just too easy to do. Such a huge country.

 

Britney isnt a favourite here at the moment.She perfomed on the British version of Amercan Idol, called the X-factor, and mimmed..she's lost loads of fans..

Yeah man, they love the British accents.

Even a decent looking guy has an advantage w/ the Brit or Aussie accents here in the states.

Not all of them do.. like say.. black women? I don't think they give a damn about the accents too much. But even still, since its very different, many of them find it 'cute'.

Odd thing is... Asian, African or Indian accents don't get love. They usually get made fun of.

Oh yeah, the English accent automatically makes a guy that much cuter. I don't know what it is about that accent. And the other accents do suck compared to the British accent, imo.

 

I got mine broken down to the Irish accent....they say everything on an upnote like they're happy all the time or on somethin'

 

OH! I forgot about the Irish brogue. And the Scottish brogue. Those rock, too!!
