Im invisioining something like Latin america,or North Africa.
Where in the U.S you will have the whites and asians non blacks/mixed raced peoples(mulattos,eurasians,hispanics primarily of meszito/spanish stock) and so on and so on,at the top,and Blacks and indians(native americans) at the bottom and marginalized.

You see,if you want some proof of this,just look at Latin america,and North Africa.

Do you see this as the direction America is going or where it is today? In Canada, the First Nations have been securely situated at the bottom as in your post ever since "Discovery".

Me personally,i think its impossible to eradicate racism from western nations and nations that have been colonized by western nations no matter how much you diversify it,but thats just my opinion.

 

I dislike using the word impossible because I am so incredibly idealistic, yet I agree with you Malikom - it would be very difficult to eradicate racism so deeply entrenched in Western/colonized nations. How do you think we could make it happen? I am seriously asking for real solutions as I think about this daily.....

Our future direction will be greatly determined by the success of Obama and our ability to get out of our current financial crisis.

 

I foresee a greater mixing between various groups along socioeconomic lines, with well-educated white men and Asian women intermarrying at even higher rates. I also sense that well-educated black men will marry well-educated black, white, and Hispanic women. Less educated black men will continue to produce children (but not marry) less educated black, white and Hispanic women.

There will likely be a larger split between well-educated and less-educated blacks as a whole.
