So i guess i have recieved a couple comments that i think about sex to much. Is that such a bad thing? i thought there was such a thing called freedom of speech and we are on a website where people are opened to talk about anything. If you dont like a thread then dont read it or post to it.

There's nothing wrong with starting threads about sex in the appropriate section of the forum (For Lovers Only). That's what the section is for, whoever doesn't want to read about sex doesn't have to open it.

That's as far as the internet is concerned.

Well maybe people want to know a little more about you on other levels... you may want to consider joining other discussions too... if someone new joins the forum and posts only about sex, it may give a certain impression.

 

No, absolutly not, but i recommend checking the other threads, because a lot have already been asked, and that probably why people get tired of it. But no, we don't mind.
But we do want to get to know the other sides of you as well.

 

There's nothing wrong with liking and talking about sex. You should bring up topics that interest you. If sex talk if your fancy, then go for it. Like Moskvichka said, just put it in the appropriate forum.

Don't be too concerned about what others think of you. I'm a black man, SOCIETY, as a whole, automatically puts me in a catagory. Does it bother me.....NO!!!

 

Its definitely not a bad thing but being new and off the bat, talking primarily about sex seems to give some people the impression that the white girl is only into black men because of the sex. From what I've sensed anyways.

I don't get that personally but everyone "reads" things differently as I have come to realize.

What I meant was that I have gotten some comments from some of my posts when I first joined, suggesting that I was only interested in sex because I had mentioned it.

 

Sweet - I think it's important for people to take responsibility for their own actions. First impressions are well...first impressions. You approached this site and within a day or so had quite a number of threads started that were of sexual nature. I don't think most on this site take issue with the topic at all, in fact there are NUMEROUS threads on here about sex and people tend to discuss it quite openly.

The only things we can know about you is what you present to us.

I think the issues with some have been more about that you are starting repetitive threads...so it was suggested a couple of times to maybe take a minute and see if what you want to bring up is already an active conversation and rather than starting a new one, join in with the existing one. And the other thing was to please post things in the *appropriate* sections.

Sure there are those who take issue with those who are only interested in black men or white women for sexual purposes. I think that happens because many/most of us are people living our lives and we happen to either be in relationships with bm or ww or are interested in being with them. I think there is some concern about playing into the stereotypes/myths that its just all about sex. I'm sure you can somewhat relate to this based on your own personal life and experiences.

Hell talk about whatever you wish. I'm just saying when you come on a site and post a bunch of threads about sex, you don't have much right to get pissy with people who say something about you talking about sex a lot. That's all.

Thank you... I will post whatever i want, it is an OPEN FORUM... I didnt realize that there were other threads i was just being me. But i appreciate your pissy attitude and respect. I didnt realize you needed someones permission to post things.....

Thank you for the decent advice,,, i just didnt understand why certain people were jumping down my throat about it, especially if it is a typical thing on the "lovers only" site... I did not know that at first but then some of you came on and told it to me and i appreciated that... people do make mistakes is all that i wanted to express to those people who jumped down my throat. and i can get pissy back to the ones who get pissy with me it just a habit.....
