People who have little education and poor jobs, are more likely to be racists that people with higher education and decent jobs. It's because they need someone to blame for their problems. It's pretty mixed in the UK. I guess you could look at it this way: bottom of the barrell white females tend to date bottom of the barrell black males and err well educated? pretty? rich? (can't think of the opposite of bottom of the barrell) white females tend to date black men in the same boat. Just like ANY relationship in the UK, despite race.
Yeah, agreed. I think that in England there's actually more seperation between class than there is between race. People that grow up on council estates and whatnot will likely date other people from council estates, regardless of their race. You'll very, VERY rarely see someone from Hale (I'm using Manchester areas here, dunno London since I'm not from there) going out with someone from Moss Side. It just doesn't happen. And the whole bottom of the barrel white women thing is just crap. If anything, there are some VERY good looking white girls going out with some nasty loking guys here. Sure, you see some fugs as well but generally that's not the case at all.
Oh, wank. My city is the worst place to live! Even worse than HULL and LIVERPOOL, haha. I'm from South Manchester actually and it is better. North Manchester has some of the worst areas in England, for sure. My ex lived there and everytime I was visiting him, I'd be clinging to his arm on the walk to his house because there'd always be some kids setting cars on fire or something. He had a hooker living 3 doors away too, classy. EDIT: And where I go to uni is the second most dangerous place, hahaha!
Haha, my ex was from Fallowfield (or something like that). I think it was a bad area... well his mum had 7 kids to different dads, his brother was the first kid in the UK to get an asbo and his other brother is in prison. Fallowfield isn't too bad! I wouldn't call it a great area or anything but it's better than some of the places in North Manc. My ex is from Gorton, and my only advise is to NEVER GO THERE. I'm glad that your ex is doing well for himself though, it's so easy for people to just get sucked into that whole thing. My ex is the same, he did some stupid stuff when he was younger because he's grown up pretty much all by himself, but he's in uni now and graduating soon. He's got some stupid friends, you know the typical Mancunian scallies and whatnot. But again, this is because he goes to a good university and everyone on his course is very middle/uppder class and he's the only Mancunian, and the only mixed race guy. They look down on him because he's very working class so he just sticks to his North Manchester friends, even if they're all scum First asbo though, that's quite a claim to fame, hahaha!
