Agreed, Athena, all of these are very lovely. Canada, Europe, and the rest. This was a great idea for a thread! I feel like I've been traveling. Dex, I have never been the Cleveland, but it bears a huge architectural similarity to Cincinnati. Which, of course, would be a bad thing to say, since Cleveland and Cincy are such huge rivals. :smt084
A few more of my favorite places in Chicago.... Buckingham Fountain: Field Museum (where I used to work): The Museum of Science and Industry (my favorite museum here): Grant Park and the Shedd Aquarium:
I love this shot Books - beautiful place. And Saty - that was an honest opinion of Cleveland, it looks beautiful on the water.
Book, do they still have that mini-doll house thing in the museum of S&I? I remember going there when I was little and it was the HUGEST deal for me. Thanks, now I miss Chicago. I didn't go through the whole thread though...did you get one up of Wrigley that I need to comb through and find?!?!?!
No, I didn't post any pics of Wrigley Field. I thought about it, but decided not to. Yes, they still have the dollhouse. I'm sure they will always have a dollhouse. They also redid the lionel train exhibit. It rocks!!
