Recently released detainee rejoined his terror group. Bombing of the USS Cole and the US embassy in Africa happened on Clinton's watch. We should have got Bin Laden then. I hope we dont make the same mistake.
Its not about being partisan our lives are at risk.

Sad business but didn't happen in the homeland which is what matters. Bush Administration had 8 years to get bin Laden, where is he?

Are you kidding me, why would one take an object that you know nothing about who might turn out a venomous snake in your lab? Too risky if your ask me. And since when does the US listens to any countries request especially when it comes to war related issues?

 

It amazes me how many people would love for President Obama to fail, but here's the dirty little secret:

If he fails, then we all fail.

I'll admit, I don't like George W. Bush and I probably never will. At the same time I didn't want him to fail at his job because things like what is currently going on with the economy tends to happen.

I'm almost convinced that there are many who don't want the economy to improve while there are others who don't ever believe it will improve.

I for one refuse to feel sorry for myself, I'm going for mine and I don't care how long it takes me to do it.

 

He has been a WH Chief of Staff, a Congressman, SecDef who oversaw a successful war, a successful CEO, then a sitting VP for two consecutive terms. Can you think of anyone more quote-worthy? Obama was smart enough to recognize this and accepted his advice readily.

Because the Bush administration deviated from the previous practice of treating terrorists as criminals, and began to treat them as war foes. These detainees are in effect prisoners of war. Different rules apply.

 

It amazes me how some buffoons seem to either lose sight of that fact, or conveniently skip it. When Hoover crashed and burned, 25% of Americans lost their jobs, and millions of people were out of their homes and lining up in front of governmental buildings waiting for food handouts. You really do not need to be Archimedes to figure that if Obama fails, then we will literally go down under.
