Really... you actually did that?

If it's important to you, I think I stormed off in a huff when I mentioned in a thread that before islam people in the Arabian peninsula had some cultural convention or other, but when islam came along they stopped doing that.

I got shot down by a poster that calmly explained to me that islam has alwasy existed. Which laughable opinion seemed to be taken seriously.

Then there was the thread where everyone started slagging off the German accent, which I thought was in poor taste. I was disturbed that the forum at that time seemed to relish laying into the accent in some sort of horrible group bundle... for what? It's my opinion that insulting anyone's accent that has bothered to learn another language is something only the most arrogant and ignorant of people would do, no matter how odd or gutteral that accent might be. Dissilusioned and outraged, I left.

I give it two months tops and you will be gone again. If you choose to storm off in a huff and become outraged, it is on you. But your post blames others.

Thanx for your advise Mosk, but I'm done lending mula. Lots of so called friends owe me green and ain't planning on payin it back; unless of course I send Capone on their ass.

 

My best friend owes me a few hundred and I said she can give it back to me on her wedding day (and she's HOPELESSLY single). I only lend to very close friends who are more like family.
