My only point is the fall of the Soviets could have happened on anybody's watch who did a lot of Pentagon spending.

Golf is a great sport Sir Nose, Twain was way out of order with that quote!!:smt084

Disagree with you on this point, he is making slow progress, and his appointment while expedient and political for the GOP, is nonetheless historic and offers the chance for even more progress in breaking down stereotypes and bigotry.

Yeah, he was running against Gore, who was supposed to be the intellectual one. In fact, they were both legacy appointments. Their undergrad grades were about the same (Bush slightly higher 2.35 vs Gore's 2.2).

Bush went on to earn an MBA at Harvard. Gore attended divinity school, then dropped out. Attended Law school, then dropped out.

Bush's GPA is also higher than John Kerry's.

That being said, he was far from being an intellectual, but he definitely had the courage of his convictions.

Yeah, but it makes sense when you can't get anything to drop on the green or in the hole. Which happened to me last time out. We'll have to play sometime.

BTW you can see my putting form in my profile pic. Maybe a scratch golfer like you can offer some corrections?

Your eyes should be more directly over the ball, figure out which eye is dominant (great tip to help you find that out at golfmagazine.com) focus and aim your puts with that eye, your arms should hang straight down from your shoulders with less bend in your left elbow, and your feet should be at least shoulder width apart, they look too narrow in your picture. Based on your current posture I would be willing to bet that you push a lot of puts to the right? These tips will help you square and release the putter-face through impact.

If you ever make it to Az. I will host you at my club, If I ever make it to Portugal I will let you know!

You have actually made a lot of good points. I am really going to sit back and see what the democrats have to offer.

Respectfully disagree with her comments, sometimes the best way to bring about change is to work from within.

Michale Steele was one of two possible candidates for the job. Who was the other guy you ask? A one Ken Blackwell. So when I heard that they were ever so obviously choosing a black guy to head the RNC, I literally laughed out loud because I totally saw it coming.

    Really.

And my mind was made up about Michael Steele's "leadership" after he let Rush Limbaugh publicly pull his hoe-card.

Yeah he might be intelligent, but he's also spineless and gutless.

The Steele nomination seemed a little too '1-2 punch' if you will.

They saw how impacting Obama was across the globe and it seemed like "Hey, that black guy thing really does work! Well, we like black people, too! To prove it, we'll put a BM at the head of RNC! What do you think? Is it workin? :)"

First, it was Hillary Clinton. Then, they respond with Palin. (I know, McCain single handedly did that ).

Next, Obama clenches Dem Nom and eventually POTUS. Shortly there after, Michael Steel comes along.

Well whaddya know. Perfect timing. Coincidence? Nah.

    Wow.

But anyways, I got one question before I knock-off for the night. Why the hell are they having all these "tea-parties" across the country, and nobody saw fit to invite my black ass?:(

Why would any sane black man go to one of those tea party things. Anytime you get that many crazy white right wingers together it's for a lynching or a Klan rally no thanks. I don't want to be the first black man lynched at a tea party. And if you find fault in Obama policies that fine and yet listen to right wing radio has amped these people up with lies. Telling them that Obama is going to take from white people and give it to lazy black folks. I'm telling you guys you should really listen to right wing radio their not to fond of black people.

Opie & Anthony are Shock Jocks but Anthony is very conservative.

And this is the tame stuff I have listen to right wing radio for a while. They call the Katrina victims criminals. These right wing shows make fun of black people appearance behavior and actions all in a dehumanization process. And they never offer a counter argument so your average poor uneducated white male hears this it's no wonder blacks face so much racism in this country. And yet the biggest agent to me maybe Sean Hannity this guy has links to two Nazis. Both of the guys has even been on fox news one of them was brought on to lie about Obama connections with Ayers and other terrorist. So Michael Steele is around some dubious individuals.
