I say let conservative pundits alienate current and future Latino voters all they want. Republican leadership in Congress will proffer a degree of symbolic resistance, but Sotomayor is a lock.
I keep hearing about some comment Ms. Sotomayor made about a Latina Judge being better to make judicial decisions than white males because of Latina's having a unique view of the world. Anybody got the full story on this because this seems to be the crux for this lady being slammed as a reverse racist. Her critics are calling her incompetent, not fit to be a judge etc... I say let the woman defend herself as quickly as possible instead of the games being played to stretch this thing out to find dirt on her.
Mark Beling a conservative radio host was talking about it on his show. He stated that her comment was on NY times and on some internet site.

Looking at how you view things as far as politics, you have every right to be skeptical about Washington right now. However I do believe that sometime down the road you will see the progressive movement that is happening. This is only the beginning and things will definitely improve over time. I guarantee it.

It's so weird how Rush can say whatever he wants about anyone, but gets quickly offended when someone calls him a racist. Yet at the same time HE can call anyone HE wants a racist. What part of the game is this?
It's high time folks treat these right wingers like Limbaugh and Hannity the way you would treat a school bully i.e. return fire for fire. If you give him some of his own medicine, he can't do shit. The sad thing is that people look at these folks and decide to "fight fire for fire" instead of left or right look at the issues. Rush does represent all Republicans what about Colin Powell, Megan Mccain? its time to stop looking at the nonsense and start looking on how we can fix our problems.
