Thought this was an interesting blog, came across my Kindle. Ring any bells for anyone else? http://www.lovesciencemedia.com/lov...entrism-and-other-pitfalls-of-early-dati.html
That's a really interesting read, Fly. Three weeks into a relationship and she wants to be exclusive, even though the guy hasn't broached that subject with her... jeez clingy much? Not to mention, there are just way too many rules to follow. I'd never make it, I'm too straight-forward, and I hate to play games. It's more like lead, follow, or get the hell out of my way. Who wants to spend time trying to figure out what he's thinking, and then come up with a 'plan' based upon that? Is this a relationship or a tactical offensive? Honestly do men really follow that 'Eh I can take it or leave it, it's not that important to me... oh wait now someone else wants it, and I've lost my hold on exclusivity... now I must have it' type scenario? Please say no.
As a guy, one of the reasons I STOPPED dating online because many of the women I met were unbalanced. I met a woman online, emailed her off and on, sent her a few pictures of me, talked to her a few times over the phone and the next thing I knew, she was in LOVE and we had never even met in person :smt102
Same here, I got tired of trying the on line thing after several men got possessive before even meeting me.... Seems to be a large number of emotinally unstable peoeple on there that think you are dating after the first "hi".
Yes, I've run into 2 unstable guys being on an online dating site for less than a week. It creeped me out. Although I learned a lot in that first week and I feel I'm better prepared to deal with those types....
