Hilallry Clinton stated that she can not see herself serving as Sec. of State in Obama's 2nd term. Is she that much unhappy in her work under Obama administration? Has she been margnalized as some put it? Some folks have been stating that Obama has appointed her and has taken all her power and profile away and she is unhappy. In fact they're predicitng that she might not be back even for his 2nd state of the union address next year. Is she thinking about challenging him for 2012?
She can run as independent as Senator Lieberman did for the US senate race. But she did also stated that she has no interest in running for 2012, but you know politicians they say one thing and do another.
There's no way she'd make it as an Independent. Too many people identify themselves with a specific party. No way can she hope to take away enough Republican and Democratic votes. It'd be nice if we had a multi party system like every other industrialized nation but too many people cling to ideology over what actually makes sense.
I forgot to say has been rumored to Mrs. Clinton stating that. I've heard this discussion on the radio while driving to work this am. I wanted to read the article myself this morning, I just did not get a chance to look for it. They're usually good on posting links to an article/interview on the same day. I've just checked their website and no links up there yet. I will post the link when they post it. If they dont, then I will just scratch it off as a rumor or as their wild fantasy.
I am going to need evidence here. If she did actually say it, I don't blame her. The people running the thing really hated her. One could argue that they disliked hillary more than McCain.
I seem to remember something like this being in the Tavis Smiley special on Hillary but I only half watched it. She's 62 now though so it's possible she wouldn't sign on for Obama's second term (if he wins). I think her presidential running days are over though.
