what state is the most accepting of IR dating ? Im not big on the word tolerant because it has the stigma of it is painful to allow you to come in our world.
it's hard to tell anymore honestly. I've lived in texas, georgia, DC, and Maryland and it's everywhere.
rough title on this thread. "suffers"??? how bout somethin a lil more refreshing, like "celebrates". and to answer the question, lol, out of the places i've visited i think the southeast and northwest do well on the IR scene. don't sleep on north carolina, oregon, and washington.
Count me among the people who don't like the thread title. But Hawaii has the most IR marriages, followed by Minnesota.
I get your concern about the title but you have to remember when you have a " fever " you are suffering. Now when you read the intro you saw that the word tolerance was shunned because of the negative stigma of it ( at least to me) . so is the title rough ? maybe but it is a tongue and cheek type of thing. again I get your point that IR is not something is bad but should be celebrated. then again for some people IR is something they have to suffer about. especially the racist. they are the ones suffering because of jungle fever

Jungle Fever is a racist slur that derives from an even more racist slur. It's extraordinarily offensive, to interracial couples and to Black people in general, and I have had it used against me in a very degrading manner because I was walking with my husband and I don't think it has any place on this board. It's disgusting.
i have been to almost every major city that is west of the mississippi...it depends on what makes a city interesting to you...i travel for work...the people make different cities interesting to me...i like to see how people interact with each other...after a while the airports...rental car agencies...hotels....restaurants and stores start to all look the same...sometimes i forget where i am
it sits right up there with being called a nigger lover...it bothers me but to be honest i have heard it for so long that when i hear it now in 2010...it makes me think that the person is just ignorant for using that type of language...
