I know what he said but he followed up with saying he had a black heart. I can't see him as a racist just based on the black wife and biracial kid. If you're truly racist you don't make that kid of commitment.
One thing I know is that once you bring up color of ANY kind to a discussion, you immediately make it a race issue. I actually had to watch the video to determine the context Tony, and I think Andrae is correct that the man wasn't referring to skin color, rather he was implying that the President has a black soul. That's what he meant by black heart, which to me is the equivalent of saying someone is evil, so I find it completely inappropriate and think he's clearly full of crap. I didn't agree with Bush's policies or actions, but I didn't accuse him of having a black heart. I think that's a bit strong. The man chose his words poorly, but I don't think what he said is racist, just bullshit.
TS: Our race always had to deal with judasgoats going back to first brother that arrive to these shores..
"They tell me it’s the white man I should fear, but it’s my own kind doing all the killing here". I learned a great deal about my race from that quote alone.:smt045
Quotes like this annoy me. How about we just don't trust anyone until they earn it. Black or white most people will fuck you over if given the chance.
actually eric michael dyson made a statement similar to that along with dick gregory. If you read further you will understand why being pro black is pro everyone. some people just cant read and comprehend.
I believe his name is Michael Eric Dyson. I read what you typed. My comment is very much correct. It isn't about being pro black. It is once again about being pro right.
It should be noted that the majority of those who consider themselves pro-Black do not consider us Black men among their ranks.
Your clarity is incredible especially in comparison to the intellectual white noise on this board. If you don't have a blog, you need to make one.
sorry im very on point. look at again. when black people fight for their civil rights other groups of people benefit from our work. are you wrong for saying pro rite .....no but being rite is very relative. for example the racists white people would say they are right in that they are the superior race.
LOL. Its funny you say that. people will say you will lose your "BLACKNESS" if you are in an IR. to me there is no such thing as your "BLACKNESS" it is like the dude I was debating it is a rightness when you are pro black. so both of us are rite we just approaching from different angles.
