Yes, but life exists in generalities. I have an aunt who is Thai, has a fourth grade education, and she owns a bar. Yes, she married my uncle because he's a nice white GI, but she's a hardworking person. It's not a question of being intelligent or having a PhD. It's a matter of having this drive to say, "I want to be successful for my own sake." If that means Bob notes he's interested in being an electrician and goes to vocational school, foregoing Yale, good for Bob. If he's also a well-rounded invidual, I'll be interested in Bob possibly. You're right on there are smart people in every walk of life, but I know for me what I look for in a romantic partner is not what I look for in a friend or what I expect from family. And I can only speak for me. Do I have lofty expectations for romantic partners? Probably, but that hasn't let me down when I've actively tried to meet people. Everyone has their own arbitrary standards. Maybe you only date women with red highlights, and you have a very defined argument for that. Statistically, it's shown that people on the same economic class level to start have more successful marriages than when there's a great disparity. All things being equal, I think it's one of the most important things. If I marry a janitor happily, I invite you to the wedding to come and laugh. Not saying it's impossible, just improbable.

I have to agree with the Brothers here. And along the lines with erictbrown1, hell I'm a Black ass nerd to the hilt, lol. But when it comes to White Women, all I attract are the fine White Women. There is an assumption that the Black nerd can only pull a fat or ugly White Woman. And I laugh, because my history says a complete different story. Hell the Woman I'm married to looks awesome.
