Schwarzenegger for president? He would if he could

Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger would love to run for president - if he could. California's actor-turned-governor was born in Austria and the U.S. Constitution prevents foreign-born citizens from holding the nation's top job.

Jay Leno asked Schwarzenegger on "The Tonight Show" Thursday if he would make a White House run if the law was changed.

Schwarzenegger replied, "Without any doubt."

But that's not likely in the foreseeable future. Any amendment to the Constitution must be approved by two-thirds majorities in the House and Senate, and then be ratified by three-fourths of state legislatures.

Schwarzenegger spokesman Aaron McLear says the governor doesn't think that will happen.

Lets give that one strpper lady some credit. She ran too.

 

The only credit she deserves is having one of the best sex scenes of 2007. She was ambitious and brave to try running but no credit should be given. It was a joke.

It'll all be fine when Mr. Zsa Zsa Gabor (fake prince Frederic Prinz von Anhalt) becomes the governor of your great state of Kaleefornia. At least he will legalize marijuana or 'mariana' as he says it. I'd bet you like that.

 

He's not going to be the governor. (Wait, that's the same thing I said about Arnold. *facepalm*)

Besides, we don't need him to help us legalize marijuana. We already have and we're making more progress every year in the legalization of it.

On second thought, she probably wouldn't do much worse than Arnold.

 

Schwarzenegger made a lot of money with all he was doing, if it´s now with real estate or with his acting career. But we in Europe and I agree with that don´t like him, because of his hard line in death penalty (we generally don´t want it) and his rassistic reputation. Especially, when you are aware that he was a foreigner himself, in the sixties.

Even Austria renamed places, which were called by his name and wanted or still want to take the Austrian citizenship away from him.

 

I'll bet that no one would ever ask to see his birth certificate either.:smt009
