Maybe he's talking about Asian Minor? lol No one goes around and calls them this, but since you're asking what color they're considered, they're Yellow.
I just find it bizarre for someone to have Kenya next to their location, oblivious about a continent that resides within the eastern hemisphere. http://www.uvair.com/images/FUEL-DL100_east_fuel.gif Cheers!
I feel you.... People as a whole don't surprise me, it's the things they come up with that do. I'm like WTF on a consistent basis....lol
Awww, you're too kind Like Complex, I do find it odd that someone would combine Asian and White people as one. Maybe if they're Eurasian or have more White features, then I could understand or even having similar complexions. Oh well, C'est la vie!
Not at all Bratha, I very well know Asian women, (Chinese, Japanese and the rest...) and definitely I can't call them Black. If indeed they are Yellow, then I guess no one is white (Paper white) but only shades from pink, yellow to red....apart from frozen Caucasian corpses of course! The whole point is to refute the idea of thinking that the term "Asian woman" means a all new bread of human beings who despite being apparently having the same color as the woman from Europe can't be called white women.:smt018
hunni chinese, japanese are often thought of as oriental where im from. asian are thought of as indian, pakistani, bangladeshi etc, now you know where the yellow comment came in
Those who forefathers stemmed from Asia will proudly class themselves as Asian decent. In regards to Culture, they may say they are Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Philippine and, so forth. Using the words “Yellow” and, “Oriental” can be looked upon as form of disrespect to some. It is always safer to say Asian, if you cannot differentiate their cultural background. Cheers!
absolutely...!!! it's completely disrespectful and should never happen...just like the words gook and slanty...!!! some people miss the point though
When I returned to The States on Special Assignment, and I was in conversation with a Yank-type fella...referring to some Vietnamese acquaintances of his, the first words in my 'thought balloon' over my head were: Good GAWD! I thought talk like that was mixed in with the rest of its kind and spread on some FARMER'S FIELD by now! Yeah, a bloke actually *used* the term "Oriental". Circa 2010. So much for "Enlightened Times", eh? OpinionsCartoonStudios@Yahoo.Co.UK
No need to  at me. Asian woman is not a brand new. What are you talking about? No one goes around calling them "Yellow". You asked me a question about what color would they be classified and I answered accordingly. Asian Women are just that - ASIAN! If we want to get even more technical and look at it terms of a "racial" classifications, we have Caucasoid, Negroid and Mongoloid. Asians fit in the latter. You're trying to combine skin tones/coloring into race and I'm letting you know that you're wrong.
