Hey, what's up to all. My name is Isaiah Marsalis and I recently won a scholarship to the Los Angeles Recording School moving from Houston to LA. I'm twenty two years old originally born in West Hills, CA. I'm extremely focused on my art, so it's hard for me to get distracted with chasing college women... honestly. I am young and I know that my future depends on the decisions I make NOW. I love all women and I've dated many types of women; black women, latin women, asian women, indian women, but the women that captures are white women? Why? Because white women are so pure. They can be themselves without having to coincide with what is hot in the media. Music is my life. I love all kinds of music, but specifically rock. Oasis, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Sublime, Gorillaz, the list can go on. I'm a producer. I just recently finished a project for an artist named Irregular Mek (www.irregularmek.com). I'm going to succeed in what I do, and it's only in a matter of time. I know what's to come - groupies... but after the groupies there's nothing except exhausted sex and I want something true! Which is why I am on this forum so I can meet people from all over without wasting my energies during the day chasing these Beverly Hill Mall Shoppers. Eventually my beautiful angel will fall on my lap though. Anyways, that's my introduction! -Isaiah PS. I'm very light complected, but I am allllll Black
Welcome!! Funny that! I moved from H-town to LA (well, I did a stint in Seattle for a year in-between)
Good shit, I'm trying to do the same thing except after graduation. Wanna head to LA and do some work in the film industry. Congratulations on the scholarship! That's a fantastic start. If it's not a full ride you better get yourself a job as soon as you can after moving and start saving. Once money runs out schools get pissed if you don't have the cash. lol Hopefully for you it's a full ride though.
Welcome dude. Good intro too. Almost makes me wish I put a bit more thought into mine when I first 'arrived' on this site, lol. Good taste in music as well (apart from Oasis, they will perpetually suck in my world). RHCP were one of my first favourite rock bands growing up. Hope you enjoy yourself on the site and good luck with your studies and future endeavours. P.S. In accordance to your mention to groupies, judging by the amount of 'cougars' who came out to greet you, it seems you're off to a fine start .
