Most of those things you can do in a relationship. In fact I think all except 9 and 10 can be done. And even those could be done depending on the individuals. The only advantage to being single is that no one cares if you snore. :smt005 Oh and I ALWAYS control the remote. Always have, always will. They'll have to pry it from my cold, dead hands. Hahahahaha!
I think for me, is being able to talk to and meet anyone I want to.... I gain weight when I'm single...lol
sleep in the middle of the bed don't sleep in the wet patch eat what i want when i want remote control is mine i can switch off i think for myself
LOL, I won't lie I'm a remote hog as well. Gotta watch my nature programs on National Geographic Wild.
couldn't when i was married. had to cook one meal to suit us both (and all when kids were born) and we had to eat together. tv was always geared towards him and his likes. when i was married i couldn't switch off until everyone else were in bed...before that i was on my feet and looking after them and talking about the ex's day (mine was never a big deal because in his eyes me staying home looking after 2 kids wasn't work) and making sure he was looked after and comfortable. and lastly, in a relationship i used to always think of me as an 'us' and wouldn't think of what i wanted but would think of what 'we' wanted.
You need some mood altering drugs. I think you have NEED to be with someone...anyone, and I hope you do have the ability to enjoy being just you. but you can do everything that you wrote above when you have someone.
You didn't have a husband, you had a whole nother' child. And I think that staying home looking after the children is work..........until they start going to school. Then its 8 hours of free time a day.
This shit makes no sense to me. I would never allow myself to live like that. If I'm not happy there's no way we can be happy.
a) agree. he was another child b) agree. but when he was saying that about my day my son was 3 and my daughter was 2. as you know, that is work. thank you for acknowledging the hard work that at home mums do go through...it's very rare these days.
absolutely, but i was so determined to make the relationship work that i ignored my needs and focused on him and us. me now would never do what me did then...and that is another reason why i am more than happy to be single and doing my own thing than being in a relationship and having to compromise me again.
Everything done within limits is stress, and everything done with no regard for the other person can cause stress in a relationship. Flirting in no different. When there is stress...flirting is not the problem, its the symptom. An indication that insecurity exists within the relationship.
1. Insecurities always exist. Such is the burden of being human. 2. I just like to tempt a bad situation. Just like if you have a daughter and you know she's not a slut but you sure as hell don't want her dressing like one. Just my dumb two cents.
