O...i used to live in seattle...love the city...just above belltown on 5th avenue...the monorail used to go right by my brownstone window... welcome to the forum...
Nice area to live as a young urbanite. I've never had any problems in Seattle regarding my relationships with white women. I'm a native and I've been around long enough to see the trends.

Belltown which is at the north end of owntown Seattle is a hot spot. Always fine ww in their snug designer jeans. Kirkland is another spot where attractive women congregate and you see interracial relationships all the time.
Best IR dating City? I think it is understood, that most of the answers given to this question are at best, personal opinion. There are NO cited studies or polls, or any scientific information gathered, to substantiate any of the above responses. Having said that, I would submit that the "Best", place is where ever you find a preponderance of White Women & Black Men. Or, where you find mutual interest shared by two people. Most of you have never heard of "Marine Illinois" or "Potosi Missouri", yet two of my past relationships came from these (small) towns. I presently reside in Overland Missouri, (a suburb of St. Louis), and I can tell you from my personal experience that Interracial Romance is where you make it happen. :wink:
Great post Darryl1954. I completely agree with this. I know there are some cities where IR's are more accepted than others but, I'm not moving to another state just because my husband and I will be accepted better there. I don't feel unaccepted now I just know that some people don't like it and that is their problem.
Pretty much any urban area really! Like Milwaukee (not to be biased :wink: ) is fine for ir relationships...pretty much all of my friends are in an IR or inter-ethnic relationship. But just be careful outside the city limits!
White woman I was in Germany in the 1950s they was a bar in the city of Kassel near the railroad station where all the black men would hang out. It was well populated by white females looking to connect with black men and many of them did. A lot of these women married black men came back to the states had a lot of trouble in the South when they came home. I was transferred to an Army base in Virginia Beach in 1957 I was quite surprised to see segregation was still very active. I married a German lady while I was over there who was attracted to black men I had no problem with that whatsoever. We had a wonderful marriage for 50 years until she passed away in February of 08 from liver cancer.
Sorry your wife passed away. You are really old school. I can't imagine how it was in the US back then. But, did you encounter any problems in Germany??? The Kid Rasta

Minny (Minneapolis) is better than Sea-Town in my opinion for BM/WF IR. VanCity (Vancouver), and BC cities are even better than MPLS. But, VanCity is in Canada -- not the US. The Kid Rasta
