Ron Paul to OPEN eyes !

Well, he's an ardent supporter of intelligent design, so I wouldn't even walk past that. In fact, he would've voted against the Civil Rights Act of 1964 because he feels that businesses should have the right to discriminate against whomever because that's what they like to do. Individualism of that mindframe would be the result of modern day being of the attitudes of the 1970s - haven't evolved much.

We're not Sweden nor the Netherlands, where people are generally more progressive minded. We're a stubborn culture and it took some form of government intervention to get some points across.

 

I am not sure why you took this thread seriously. And in the end the one who are the bottom of the social ladder, would be even worse.

 

I live in a heavily conservative state and they still live in a dogmatic mindset. What's worse are those who feverishly support a guy like Ron Paul without really seeing the negatives of his ideology. Political discussions, even when it could be strange, I happen to take a wee bit seriously.

I work in government and always get skittish when campaigns surface that skim the surface of racist sentiment with euphemistic language like "state's rights", etc, because these comments are designed to stir the anti-Civil Rights sentiment that lurks beneath the surface of much of the electorate, and not just in the South.

I am for small goverment but your suggestion for no government or for kooks like Ron Paul et al to run the country is right down stupid. I didn't say there should be NO government. I'm saying the government NEEDS to KNOW it's ROLE !!

That ROLE is to ensure my constitutional rights as well as everyone else's. Don't tell me I can't buy Raw milk or Hemp Oil. Don't tell me I can't buy 100% chemical free organic food !!

Don't force me to pay a property tax when i own the land and the property on it. Don't force me to pay taxes which are supposed to be VOLUNTARY on a CITY/STATE LEVEL.

Don't force nuclear energy or any unfavorable service like the new light bulb law down my throat if a majority of people in my state are AGAINST it !!

Don't make it a federal law to poison my drinking water with fluoride and chloramine when those same substance are BANNED through out the rest of the world.

DON'T print money out of thin air which causes hyper inflation and makes EVERYONE go broke and have lower standard of living.

Don't get involved in my health, don't get involved in my education don't get involved in my food, don't TAKE AWAY MY RIGHTS !!

You can do both of these things depending on the state. not only that but it is the FDA's job to make sure you get chemical free organic food. Heck, Michelle obama was promoting how to grow your own garden. If your state outlawed raw milk, that was a decision made by your people! do not go against the will of the people because you didn't get your way.

The people of your state voted on this as well as the people who were elected by your state to vote on this. If you don't like the people's vote, move out of the state or country!

We the american people have made choices on this and if you do not like our rules and laws, move out of the usa or write a bill to become a law.
