The majority of posters here don't have an inkling of support for black conservative GOP politicians and there have been many a discussions on that based on our attitudes. Save for someone like Colin Powell, we generally have an unfavorable opinion on them, so I don't know where you get that crap. Also, if that were the case, we would have been riding on Allen West and Tim Scott's little wagons.

You need to point to some people. Aside from tuckerreed, Sneekydyck, amanda7274, velkrum, who else live to drive onto the modern day conservative bandwagon on here? Certainly not a lot of us here. And yes, there are some who are registered Republican, but many of them tend to be more middle of the road to Rockefeller type Republicans...which are a dying breed today. It started way before rap and hip-hop took root and media plurality. Basically, these paranoid individuals took an idea, originally conceived by a Bavarian scholar by the name of Adam Weishaupt, who was a secular, liberal minded freethinker who believed in the idea that a secular, liberal one-world government would be ideal. Thus the Illuminati came into light. However, after Weishaupt left the organization, it suddenly crumbled 10 years later. The nonsense all began during World War II when a few people revived the idea that a one world government is coming through globalization. And there were many countries in which paranoid individuals believed to be the "evils" which would bring it back - notably former USSR and China with their "evil" Communism. From there, and thanks to media plurality and nowadays, the interwebz, we're seeing a greater root of conspiracy theories flying all over. Misconception, misunderstanding, and silly ideas based on fear and ignorance can only guide them to their own demise.
I didn't say when it started, i said when it became popular. I.E. to those who wouldn't have known about it otherwise. Most of this Illuminati talk picked up in the last few years.
Read this part again... It grew popular during those times, even without the excessive access of the internet and origins of hip-hop. Besides, if hip-hop really started the craze, I'm sure people there would be a lot more black people who would believe in these conspiracies and we would probably wear aluminum foil on our heads and talking to ourselves while holding up a picture of T-Pac with a hold where the mouth is.

@ Max Mosley I disagree about hip hop making conspiracy theories popular. They became popular when the general public realized that the theories came to fruition. NO one has ever been able to disprove FACTS and that is what the research of "conspiracy theorists" are based on.

People create conspiracy theories to basically keep the public under a false eye. Exaggerations upon exaggerations. There are no facts to these ideas. And if there are, where are they? Whoever came up with these crappy ideas need to deliver some proof and not simple conjecture.
