first you need a DSLR Camera.

Second you need to learn the three most important aspect of the camera, and these three factors.

- ISO
- Shutter Speed
- Aperture

Read everything...shoot everything...and leave your ego at the door. Hook up with the more experienced guys that shoot and learn from them...

...and when you learn, be sure to teach what you know.

..and how all three work in controlling light.
