You are so right, Redeemed... I have been staying away from my friends because I didn't want to burden them with my ongoing struggle.

Now that I have a good job, I feel comfortable calling them up and seeing what they're doing... I want to be a positive force in my friends' lives, and now I can be!! People started calling me that I hadn't heard from in forever, and I started doing things right away, which is why I'm not on WWBM as much haha

Can't wait to see what the future is going to hold...

GQ Long time no see Brotha! Where have you been?

It's going great so far - one week in and I'm all caught up. Today I got my first paycheck AND seemed to land upon a pretty good system to keep up with everything the boss throws my way. I think he was pleased... he loves it when I catch his mistakes lol (in outgoing correspondence which of course just makes the firm look better, and that's what he wants)... Not to mention he's a wonderful man from what I can tell and I'm in a bit of awe of him, so I want to please him and make everything perfect for him. His smile is rare, but it's worth the wait to see it. I'm going to learn so much from him! :smt033

I did, thank you eleven11 - bought myself a few new tops and some face scrub and followed up on an invite to one of the attorney's birthday parties at a local pub :-D

Arrived fashionably late and left fashionably early!8)
