exactly. they say "......bro, handle your business...." then you will need to look at everything like a business. what is that woman/man bringing to the table besides their pussy/dick. if all they have is a pussy/dick and bad credit due to bad decisions then we can not do a merger/marriage. it would be bad business
LOL. no doubt. can u imagine..." marry me. I have three kids with three different daddies and never been married. I also have bad credit but I suck a mean dick. That should help out right ?"
Before. For me I've always lived with my husband before marriage. We have always had joint accounts before marriage. I've always handled the bills before marriage. So marriage didn't change anything.
good deal. how about for other folks ? also would you advise someone to look at anothers credit rating before marriage if so why and if not why not ?
If you are married all your husbands debts become your debts and having separate accounts will not stop that. Signing that marriage licence makes you responsible for their debt. So yeah you should absolutely talk about debt before marriage.
hell yeah. I heard BET fucked up the last award. they also did some dumb shit by giving willow and jaden an award as a tie. dont get me wrong in the category they won in I would have gave it to willow but giving it to both of them look suspect.
You stated it as if that was what is best for everyone not just yourself. What is best is to be able to trust each other with all the money. If you don't then that's fine you just don't but I think it's crazy to insinuate that no trusting is better. Sense of self? You have formed a negative opinion on something you have never been apart of and do not fully understand. If you are working how exactly are you relying on the other person? A joint account will not keep you from being able to rely on yourself and just b/c someone else financially supports you does not mean you can not rely on yourself. If the marriage were to dissolve you go to work and then rely on yourself. It's that simple. I never said having a separate account meant you were contributing. But clearly there is some kind of issue going on. You either don't trust the person your marrying with the money you feel is yours. You still feel it's your money rather than the families money. You don't won't them to know how much money you got or what your doing with that money. I can see why you would think it was smart if you don't trust the issue but the thing is in the legal system it aint yours. A judge can take that money away from you. They won't care if you earned it and keep it in a separate account. If you legally married like it or not that money is just as much your husbands as it is yours. I think it's sad you think it's himiliating. There is nothing humiliating about being in a partnership, a marriage, where each of you have your own work inwhich some gets paid by an employer and others do not. That has been the practical way that families having been working together since the beginning of time. There is nothing humiliating about family and marriage and working together like one.
It's just not a cultural thing for me to have a joint account i might warm up to it if i marry a woman who also WORKS and contributes to that account
