    well one thing millionaires should not qualify for SS benefits. that would be a good start. they can audit to make sure that flows efficiently and making sure fraud is reduced

    LOL!!

    That's the vibe I'm getting from the retirees in my family, (mom, uncle, etc.)

    They were happy as fuck to vote for the first Black POTUS, but have stated if Obama doesn't fight to preserve SS and Medicare, even if it means restructuring both programs, they simply won't vote in 2012 for anyone.

    Sometimes it seems like Obama doesn't have core beliefs he's willing to fight for, and instead only cares about making deals and being able to say he's 'achieved' bipartisan support.


    Dubya had Republicans AND Democrats jumping through hoops to pass his legislative agenda, but Obama gets rolled daily!!!

    2012 could potentially be a very scary year for us if Bachmann or Palin makes the Republican nomination. It wouldn't feel right to be on this site when everyone knows there's a political dogfight between a black man and a white woman on the TV, while we are supposed to like white women at the same time while this is going on.

    I hope Mitt Romney gets the nomination instead.
