Montreal, when I was in college close to the Canadian border in upstate New York. Might also visit for Caribana parade weekend at the end of the month. Its actually my mom and aunt going, but I might go along since she was invited by someone who lives in Toronto.
Yeah you are not that far away at all actually. That would be cool. I have always wanted to go there but never have (Caribana). I dont go down to the big city that often anymore. I enjoy the country. I guess maybe because i was born in Scarborough (near TO) and lived there as a kid.
Yeah I've heard of Scarborough before. Nice to hear you love the small town and country atmosphere. I'm a big nature buff and so love the tranquility and serenity of those kind of environments.
Yes most people have...it is all considered GTA now. I do. Plus i own horses so keeping them in the city isnt an option LOL. It is nice to have a place to relax at after a hard days work. There is tons to do up my way. Skiing in the winter if you like it and the sky's the limit in the summer - hiking, biking, just road trips in the car etc. Maybe you have heard of Sauble Beach? That is a big hot spot in the summer.
Definitely sounds interesting and entertaining indeed, never heard of Sauble Beach before. I heard of Scarborough initially because of the notorious Paul Bernardo and Karla Homolka serial rape and murders, including of her sister.
It is a nice spot. You should check it out online. Very popular with tourists Right those are stories that people wont ever forget. Yeah iam very glad my parents decided to get out of the city while i was young. Iam lucky to have grown up in the country. At least i consider myself lucky.
