I live in D.C. and never knew that shit!!!

I knew they were both engaged, but never made the connection.

Best believe, there are LEGIONS of white men mad about that coupling!!!lol

The thought process that preceded the quoted statement.

Hmm, what is the most irrelevant consideration that I can raise right now? Ah, got it!

Irrelevant???

Let's see, other than their skin color, why else is their engagement 'relevant' on a board like WWBM???

It has to be more than they 'color coordinate'.

I guarantee you there were White dudes around here more than a little disappointed to find out she was engaged to a BM.

When you listen to sports talk radio in D.C., callers and hosts are practically jerking off whenever they talk about Lindsay. She's been on this unattainable pedestal in D.C. sports since she starting working in the DMV, I'm talking about pro athletes this girl was shooting down with 'not interested'.

So for Melvin to bag D.C.'s barbie doll is IMO impressive.

WOW, it says alot when an pretty and successful AMERICAN born and bred white woman who has a substantial white male fanbase marries a black man, regardless of his status.:smt072 And Im just going to leave it at that.

She now works for ESPN, but I wonder how long that will last. Hopefully the marriage will last longer.:)

I dont think so. I would go out on a limb and say that most people dont even know who this couple is. Its not like they are really famous or anything

They don't have a national profile, but locally they are both celebrities.
Both have been to the WH for evening benefits/functions more than once, so they IMO are 'connected'.

BTW, dude is so far from a 'dork'!!lol:rolleyes:

Her fandom is built in part on her sports knowledge and sex appeal, she's a former jock herself. If you watch ESPN, you'll hear about her soon enough.

Watch Lindsay's effect on two mere mortal men!! She's got them acting like middle school boys!!!

One of the funniest clips on youtube!!
At 1:12, watch the little white boy rub Craig's 'fro, but Melvin tries to play off.
So little dude keeps DOING IT!!!
'Mister your hair sure is soft.'
