Petty, thanks. Really, it's ok. It's a statistic, so who knows whether it will apply in my case or not? My dad died at 44 from heart problems, but both of his parents lived into their late 90s.

any realist understands that living is a temporary disease on its own. But, instead of looking at it like that, i just try to stay focused and busy doing stuff I like doing. If I knew I was going to die today or tomorrow, i'd be happy and at peace. If I live, i'll still be happy. This is the typical mindset of someone unmarried without children. i'd suspect that if either one of us got married and starting nursing a family, our viewpoint on death and dying would shift dramatically in preservation and preparation of our children.

I would definitely be upset if I died before they landed on their feet.

You're right if I had kids I would live for them until they were at an age where they could take care of themselves but since I don't.... eh. I love being alive because the alternative sucks lol but I do miss being a child and thinking everything gets better as you get older. I feel like my first 30 years were the best years of my life. I only got stronger as I got older more pussy than a whore house in Texas and lots of great laughs with my friends and my families. No everything is one more responsibility after the next, the women I meet are only looking for a dude to help them raise kids and are way more concerned about being a mom than a wife, money isn't something to play with anymore just shit to tuck away for a rainy day. As you can tell I definitely need a vacation asap lol

If you went into any hs in the US and found out how many kids would rather be reality stars instead of doctors firemen or teachers it would sadden the fuck out of you.
