True, but by the same token, a poor man puts in a lot of hours also to make ends meet, no? Or maybe he works a manual job and he's too tired when he gets home to give the wife and kids his attention. Or maybe he likes to unwind at the local watering hole for hours, creating passive-agressive stress at home. It goes both ways. In fact, money problems can even make a person become bitter or resentful - there are a myriad of negative domino effects that can occur as a result.

My point is, finding that a man who makes a great living as having an attractive quality is nothing to be ashamed of, nor does it necessarily mean the woman is then a whore or gold-digger as a result - or even assume that she has no money of her own.

By the same token, on quite a few occasions I've heard men who work hard for what his money buys him, state he does it to eventually share it with his future woman. Just another form of his symbolic peacock feathering.
