I have this question for the wwbm members and specifically the ladies here...Valentine's Day like many other commercial holidays has become big business so how important is Valentine's Day for you now on your calendar?. Is there a part of Valentine's Day that has become overrated or present giving become much too hyped? What has been your best or worst Valentine experience.
My divorce was final on (Friday) Feb 13th and I got the letter stating so on Feb 14th - Valentine's Day. Valentine's Day is just another day for me...
i like valentines day it has gone a bit over the top in recent years but i guess i am just a bit of a romantic:smt054
The entire thing is overrated and overhyped. I love romantic times with the hunny, but the whole commercialism around Feb 14 is ridiculous. To be honest I'd have to do a google search to find out what the heck the original purpose of VD was..... But, cheers to lovely romantic dinners with wine leading to fantastic mind-blowing sex! :smt048
All holidays are becoming overrated. As far as being romantic, Im that way through out the entire year.
Oh, stoooop! I will have to add you to my shaggability list and then I would be committing e-adultery.
Well, that's why I said e-adultery. E-fantasizing is more fun when the other person is single too, doncha know?
To me personally it is not overrated. I love the idea of a day to celebrate love and romance. Would be awesome if some people did not forget about these 2 for the other 364 days of the year. hehe but it's like that with all holidays. Sucks that some are only thinking of what they are grateful for on Thanksgiving or only going to church Easter and Christmas, only thinking of the sacrifices of those in the Armed Forces on Veterans or Memorial Day,etc.
