Australian (of course) Bajan African American African Japanese Vietnamese Chinese Mauritian Maori English (black) English (white) Italian Greek Serbian I did have a problem with my mother when I was dating the Maori...her & her boyfriend seem to think that all Maori men are violent, which of course is a complete, total & utter load of rubbish
Had serious relationship with: french-canadian (a couple of times), Peruvian, Mexican, Salvadorian. Dated/had a 'fling' with: Mexican (quite a few!), Peruvian, Colombian, Italian, Lebanese, St Lucian. I didn't really have cultural issues with any of them except for sex...All the latin guys I was with, with the exception of my long relationship with the peruvian, were really pushy for sex, didn't like oral too much (either giving or receiving, which is a big deal for me as I just looooooove it, both ways :smt016), and they just didn't care if I was satisfied or not... I don't want to put them all in the same basket though as I saw some exceptions and maybe I just didn't have luck with the ones I was with. Other than that, it was no big deal adjusting to the cultural differences and actually made things more interesting
I have dated guys from different cultures and religions. Probably what is percieved as being the most difficult is muslim. But I found African muslim guys ok But i start with an open mind, and I do respect their religion and associated cutture.
Both countries are part of the African continent. People from Mauritius are called Mauricien in French and Mauritian in English.
I think there is too much emphasis on differences. Its more interesting to meet someone who has a different perspective on life, a different upbringing. Its interesting to share experiences. I hate to see comments from people who ask me how I can date a person from a particular race or religion. We have negative perception of certain groups. Blacks, Arab, muslim etc. We paint all with same paint. Of course there are assholes in every group.
austrian croatian czech german slovakian swedish vietnamese The parents of the vietnamese girl didn´t like her daughter to date a bm, but we didn´t give a damn about it!
I noticed a massive cultural difference with the Polish girl I dated and I loved them. So much so I haven't been to look at UK women the same way since. Sounds a bit insane and judgmental but its true, there is good and bad everywhere of course but eye is firmly fixed and on the look out for those lovely foreign ladies.
