Yeah - looking back I really wish I were my own college professor - he had 80 semesters and was so chilled out. The best and most awesome painting and drawing professor. Super duper supreme - yet I know he did more than sit there and be cool....I love him so much. Probably the only white man I adore lol hehe jk...... I got my easel fixed this weekend and posted it on FB and he was the first one within 45 seconds to congratulate me! <3!!!!! I was so excited and happy about that - he is like a father to me. (in my mind)

lol adults don't generally take nerd as an offensive word, because they know nerds are a significant portion of the ones who go on to make lots of money mathematicians, engineers, IT dorks, physicians, lawyers...bet many of them were teased for being into academics and sitting somewhere high in their class rankings u really can't put enough emphasis on these kids to do the best they can do in school, while avoiding all the other shit
i'm just teasing.. being as tho IT people aren't expected to be the most social of groups according to the literature i've read anyway it's all in jest bottom line tho....being a nerd/geek or whatever you call it, has its advantages. especially with IT, since it's constantly evolving and is one of those fields where experience can be just as important or more so, than level of degree you received from college. if you're really into what you do, the sky is the fucking limit with IT
your right and thats why i always get the job and get paid more than most. with my expertise normally people dont have the social skills i do. my mom says its because im her cutie patootie and i just tell her its because im AMAZING!

I'm currently a high school teacher by day, & a college professor by night. I love BOTH jobs! Teaching, even with the pay not being all that great, is truly a rewarding profession. Now, is teaching the BEST profession in the world? I'm sure many of you would beg to differ......lol.
if you're double-dipping like that, i'd imagine the combined incomes to be pretty good public school teachers around here make around 40-50k, and professors can easily make 60-100+ depending on if they're an assistant, associate or full professor. I remember a high school teacher I had who had a second job too. That second job is where it's at, especially if it's not too demanding. You won't get rich working 1 job, but if you can save from the other and invest.....:shock:
