I get people are disenchanted with the way things are. I know that people thought voting for Obama would some how make everything magically better and who knows maybe if the economy hadn't collapsed literally weeks before he took office things might be better but that wasn't the hand he was dealt. I've said this on numerous occasions, how do you expect him to clean up something in four years that took nearly a decade to cause. And lets not only look at him look at all the other representatives and officials who have been sworn in to serve all Americans not just Republicans or Democrats. They are suppose to look out for the best interests of the US not the agenda of their political party and re-election. The one thing I give Obama and the Dems is for better or worst them seem to have the interests of the entire nation at heart not just those who they think will vote for them. Republicans as a whole seem to try and block any kind of progress from science in favor of religion to military over education. They scream personal responsibility... for the poor but want give cuts to the rich. They want us to pull up our bootstraps but at the same time want to either make them heavier or take them away all together. I will never say this President has acted perfectly or in ways that I wanted him to but the one difference I see in him opposed to Romeny as well as most Republicans is human compassion. Not this I made it so anyone can make it attitude with disregard to circumstances.

I never said Obama was solely at fault. I'm not stupid enough to think that no one else was involved. Obama had a daunting task ahead of him. I never thought he didn't. But he was going to be the bipartisan President. He was going to bring both parties together to work for the people. He hasn't, which makes him ineffectual as a leader. I'm not happy with where this country is right now. He spent an enormous amount of time trying to get the ACA off the ground and it's something that needs to go away. It's not the answer. I just don't know that this country can afford another 4 years if he can't do much to bring the parties together to get things done. Do I think Romney is the answer? I don't know. I'm seriously considering voting for the Green Party this November. I never said Bush was off-limits, but I'm tired of everyone blaming Bush for this mess when it started under Clinton. So therefore, I will bring Clinton into the picture when he is the direct reason we had a housing bubble that happened to finally burst under Bush.

Are you shitting me?? The unemployment number fell by THREE TENTHS OF ONE PERCENT!!! If unemployment fell from 8.8 to 8.5, would you really be that 'suspicious' about the number?? Republicans are pissed because the new unemployment number fell below 8 percent, the magical Mendoza line for reelection. Let's not act like 7.8 percent unemployment is the sign of a major economic boom. It's simply progress in the right direction. If Republicans had passed Obama's American Jobs Act, the unemployment rate would be below 6.8% right now. But of course the Republican controlled House of Representatives couldn't do that and give Obama the election.

Yes, the timing of the announcement and all of the "found" jobs is suspicious. And adding 10,000 government jobs? Really? Does this country really need MORE government jobs?? And considering it's all over the place that many companies are biding their time to create new jobs and not buying as much (I've seen that first hand at the manufacturing plant I work at) until after the election, the numbers don't add up to me. And manufacturing jobs are down for the second (or third?) straight month, but somehow unemployment dropped? It makes no sense to me. It is a step in the right direction if those are FT, non-seasonal jobs that were added. Since that didn't happen, any of those numbers are pure speculation. Republicans are just so evil. :roll:
