Those people are misinformed. They dont think the President is from another country or he's gonna let the Muslims take over. Dude lile ot was said earlier the left doesnt empower the fringe the way the right does. I think most Americans are stupid but it seeems as if most Republicans are not only dumb but also crazy

 

I finally had a chance to really read what you wrote. I don't have time to go through all of it, but since I'm older than you, I'll ignore the first statement in bold. You are just spouting off stuff now.

The fact is, my insurance premiums are going up and up and up, and it's all thanks to Obamacare. "Oh your taxes aren't going to go up with Obamacare, we're going to tax the health insurance companies and the drug companies." Bullshit. And where do you think they're going to get the money to PAY those taxes? From the workers through higher premiums, more out of pocket expenses (to keep the premiums lower) and higher prices on drugs.

The second statement in bold makes you sound like a Republican. ;-)

The third statement in bold is the truth and applies to ALL politicians across the board.

As for the first bolded part I can only assume you aren't that informed about Obamacare since it doesn't go into effect until 2014. I'm not sure but I would guess that your premiums are going up because of the burden the uninsured pose to the system. The more uninsured people getting sick and not paying for treatment the higher the premiums we all pay.

Never said I didn't have Republican views. It's not either or with me.


I get so wary of people just lazily making that statement that ALL politicians are out for self and don't care about the people. The fact is people in general are self serving. From the nuns to the drug dealers but there people who generally care about the people the serve and if I had to choose based on past performance pick who that would be between Romney and Obama its Obama on every front. People like you complain about Obama which is your right as American, that's what I love about this country, but what kind of America do you think we would have had under McCain/Palin or even Romney/Ryan?

Bookie, I have to say I lost interest in this thread so it may be in here. I see a number of posts where you have said what Obama isn't. I am not sure I have read, I assume Romney is your choice, what appeals to you that he has done or proposes to do.

It's hard to read through this much Obama didn't do this or hasn't performed miracles with what he was given. I assume people are voting FOR a candidate and just not AGAINST Obama. Let's hear why you guys like your candidates.

I should have clarified. With you I dont think its a case of blame the black guy but more so Obama can do no right and gets judged based on fearful rhetoric and not fact. You showed that to me by saying Obamacare is why your premiums have been going up but thats simply not true since its not in effect yet. Book I am very fond of you as a person, we actually agree on much more than you realize which is why I am willing to write this post instead of my usual rude response lol.
