If the intelligence is reliable, bombing whatever chemical/biological weapon stores they have should suffice. I would not want ground troop involvement.

This all well planned out and has nothing to do with what the American people want. Sowing more seeds for world war three.

More conflict in the Middle East will eventually bring Russia and China into things. All this warring will not just affect us economically at some point war will be brought to our soil. The powers that be are so fricking arrogant that they truly believe there will be no retaliation.

:smt017 There is a difference between war and genocide. Knowing that Assad has used the deadly gas Sarin should we sit back and do nothing knowing he could murder millions of kids and civilians within minutes??

If you owned tanks and jets and lived in Houston, would you allow a gang to go around mass murdering people with poison gas in Dallas?

yup because when it was happening in the Sudan or other countries. Maintain the hands off policy everywhere. We have too many problems here to be spending tax money on that shit

There is a keen difference. Sarin gas kills within minutes and it can be delivered on a warhead thus mass murdering hundreds of thousands of helpless people rather quickly. Are there currently other countries where a dictator is using such a tool of genocide in his own country ??

This should be a UN decision not an American one. Many dictators kill their people by the thousands this is no different to me. We truly can't afford it anyway.

Thats what the millionaires on wall street say when they are asked to pay more taxes, nevermind the many people in this country that go without. They are just shit out of luck. As long as people can still order their dominoes pizza, play with Ipads and watch reality tv of course they do care because it does not affect them.

If I own tanks and jets and am fighting in Austin and in San Antino, I would not go over to Dallas. I have to end some wars before starting a new one.

Mexico has been just as violent if not more than these musilm countries we continue to intervene with. How would you feel if russia said hey we going to lob a couple cruise missles into mexico to curb the violence?

War has always been used as an excuse to loot the treasury.

    It's a racket.

We do not learn a damn thing from history. Those who do not learn from it are condemned to repeat it like when our government in 1983 put our marines in the middle of a civil war in Lebanon and we lost 241 to a suicide bomber. Wait until the shit hits the fan and Al Queda smuggles that sarin shit across our unprotected borders and set off that shit here in America. It just a matter of time. Enjoy your dancing with the stars and american idol while you can.

'The worst excuse for (more) war is 'we are already in a war''

I would add that worst excuse for re-elections of Presidents, also....

    Anyway....
