I get the feeling that Barack and Michelle have a bit of a rocky relationship. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if they went their separate ways shortly after his term is up.

Just a vibe I pick up whenever I see them together.

And he does seem like the type to have a wandering eye... Maybe I'm wrong, but again, it's just a vibe I pick up about him.

You can't go any higher than the president. I don't think she is. It is just that she doesn't enjoy the position. I can see why too.

 

Now the National Enquirer is embellishing this story on their front page.

 

Not only them. Is pathetic. Everybody is trying to make a buck on random pictures from that night. The truth is out there by the photographs that took the pics and they tell another story.

 

That is true Geek. I wonder why those few images was open to the interpretation is beyond me.

same here. I don't think any of the family is enjoying it, including the prez. I can't imagine what it must be like for kids growing up in that bubble

But anyway, splitting up is not about having someplace else to go. It's about getting out. She can have a great life without him. She won't want for anything

 

As innocent as this may have been, these pictures no doubt made the home life a little testy for a day or two. Michelle's body language is quite telling. If she were Lucy and the President was Ricky, he would "have some 'splaining to do".

The good part to me, is that they seem like a normal couple. Most husbands would probably flirt in that situation and most wives would probably not be crazy about it. I know I've been there. I almost got smacked by Mrs Nose the time Miss Oklahoma showed up unescorted at the Artillery Ball in 1996. In my defense the champagne was flowing and it was not a funeral...:mrgreen:

I think Barack and Michelle have a weird dynamic going on right now. When couples are bickering they sometimes do shit to get on each others' nerves..

I have a pet theory that a lot of infidelity is like that, people do it (and get caught) specifically for the effect that it has on their partners

On top of that, I bet the danish pm knew exactly what she was doing and prolly savored that it would get on michelle's nerves.

Maybe I'm just cynical and don't have a lot faith in people, but that's the feeling I get

 

plus obama's a politician (a chicago politician yet) and a bit of a "gambler" to boot. Factor those things in and I'd bet he's inclined to go for what he want even if it means "bending the rules" a bit :mrgreen:

 

LOVE IT...the thing i find the most interesting is just how disrespectful the media is to Mrs. Obama...there are plenty of pictures where she was fully engaged in the conversation...

She sat between then before the percieved 'incident', not after. Or so it looks like. Look at the link in my previous post in this thread. That has more photos and comments from the photographer.
