Ok, you have me convinced. I think as a people and community, we are on a trajectory of decline (moral, economic, financial, emotional etc.) and a major intervention needs to be initiated to make black people (as a whole) a race with a better quality of people that compose it. I would say this about others too, not necessarily just us. When Sherman's football career is over and he's looking for real employment like nearly everyone else in America is and has, he'll probably end up unemployed, worn out, and would need to receive federal aid (unemployment benefits) to sustain a living. Employers can look at articles and videos like these and refuse to hire him because he's black and because of how he acts. They wouldn't want to employ people that would mess up the company's culture, right?

Edit: I admit, there are low quality people of all races. I have experienced it and know other people who have. My point is, is that when black people and other minorities are acting like that, the repercussions are greater against everyone in that said group, in comparison to whites, who could act the same way and take less social damage.

I think Richard Sherman's entire persona ON THE FIELD is probably an act, like pro wrestling. He's so over the top with it, and it always seems to get him some kind of media attention.

What's the expression in Hollyweird, there's no such thing as bad publicity??

My only real problem with Richard Sherman is if you're going to act like a punk during games, don't be surprised when people call you on it.

Almost everyone describes Sherman as completely different off the field and indeed he behaves and acts like a guy who went to Stanford. He volunteers a lot of his time and gives back to the 'hood in Compton he grew up in.

Perhaps. But his sportsmanship will effect his current/future endorsement deals so his behavior can impact his wallet.

Also, the majority of professional athletes are broke only 2 years after retirement. So "rich" is not a given.

This should be required watching for every single athlete who wants to play in the pros. It's alarming how so many athletes end up blowing through so much money so quickly.

I knew it was gonna be a blow out. Peyton hasn't seen a defense that great all year and Seattle's offense is underrated.

 

I had Seattle's D and Russell Wilson in my fantasy league this year and I still made the mistake of picking Denver in this game. Smh. I honestly thought Peyton's experience would prove beneficial and trump the youngins from Seattle. I certainly underestimated how Seattle would compete against the proven play makers that Denver has.

The Seahawks dominated in every aspect of today's game...they deserved this win, no doubt.
