If Israel was a haven only for Mizrahi/Sephardic Jews of the region, it would be a lot more tenable (i.e. people of a region getting some territory in that region to protect themselves from others in that region who have historically abused them). It is also worthwhile noting that an obvious corollary of the studies is that some "Blacks" are part Neanderthal too. Even more so than some non-Blacks. BTW my comment is also driven from my own personal feeling that the existence of sub-divisions among mankind is more a matter for fascination and discussion than censorship. Fair enough. My approach when people do that is to reason with those that can be reasoned with. In principle I don't believe in censorship, blocking or banning. If we proceed from the position that we don't know everything that it is a given that at some point in our lives we will all be exposed to ideas or concepts that we are not familiar with, don't agree with or even find downright distasteful. Given this then when possible I prefer to focus on the argument rather than the emotions. I find the auto-shunning and blocking more offensive than the original statements. Shutting your mind off to concepts which lie outside of your worldview is the source of much of the world's woe. As for your question, blacks (for example) are primates (as are all other humans). Humans are not apes. Now if someone suggested that blacks were somehow "quasi ape" my first response would be to ask for evidence rather than to censor. If the person proved to be irrational or was unable to support their argument then then there would be no other choice but to shut the conversation down. If they were on the other hand somehow able to "prove" that blacks were "quasi ape" then so be it! Hope that is not directed at me. And BTW using scientific discoveries to modify and/or strengthen your belief system is proper thing to do. As long as you do it across the board. Fair enough. I don't hold that opinion though. I am also a strong believer in the individual and in statistical distribution. Groups are different but individuals are not groups. Attributes follow distributions and are seldom (if ever) points.
