You're not making a lick of sense in this post. Where did you get the idea that I said that belief and believe are two different things? I've been stressing the difference between saying "I don't believe" and "lacking the belief." You are guilty of using selective bias because this discussion went over your head. So, I'm not going to entertain your mental lapse, let alone your other incorrect accusations.

I've already stated clearly that all supernatural entities are fictional characters, but you're too far up your own ass to even bother reading into everything because you're too lazy to even think. You took a word from both phrases instead of reading the whole phrase as a whole. This link should provide you a better understanding on the difference. The problem between you two is that you rely heavily on selective reasoning and that is what you are guilty of.

The video never showed that atheism is a religion, nor implied as such. You never really watched the video in earnest at all.

The guy in the video set up a "church" (he was a former pastor) as a way to bringing like-minded people together because of a lack of sense of community down in Louisiana. On top of that, he was suffering financially and emotionally due to the fallout of coming out as an atheist. None of that proves atheism is a religion, at all. You're really grasping straws here.

As for the girl in the video, she is collaborating with a pastor (progressive minded) to bring dialogue between religious ideologies and non-beliefs. Nothing suggests that atheism is a religion.

Atheism cannot be a religion. By your logic, theism and deism are considered "religions" as well right? No. They are different ideas behind the belief or lack of belief in a god. How is that any basis of what makes them a religion? Doesn't make any sense at all. What you are hearing are theistic talking points to accommodate their own worldview.

 

I saw the whole special. I watched the whole thing it didnt shock me that a pastor became an atheist or christians become atheist.
