I just ordered from Amazon all of his books that he has there. This guy is fascinating. I may take his books with me to Baltimore's John Hopkins Hospital to get his signature on them before he retires this summer. I want to know more about him. I might even join his organization to help the youth of this nation. Dr. Ben Carson is the great example the black youth in particular need to aspire to become. We are in a crisis in the black community that the current leadership is failing. We do not need rappers and pimps to be models to our children.

I read Dr. Ben Carson's story many years ago. He's a man of faith as well as a brilliant physician. I remember that his mother used to make him do book reports over the summer and he didn't like to read. Until someone (a librarian, maybe?) suggested he read a book about something he liked. Then it clicked.

I was watching him on television the other day. He said he does not go by notes or teleprompter. He is a extemporaneous speaker. I think this man is a revolutionary black man in the sense he represents a threat. Every attempt will be made to destroy his credibility. Every effort is being made to find skeletons in his closet. A highly educated black man and an independent one at that cannot be permitted in this charged political correct world. He said that the book that changed his outlook was by Booker T. Washington, "Up From Slavery". He went on to say in that book what open his eyes was the reason the slave masters did not want blacks to read. It could liberate them. He also said that the black youth of today are allowing a self imposed slavery on themselves by not taking advantage of the opportunities to learn that previous black generations were denied.
He is already being called an Uncle Tom by the same house niggers as portrayed by Samuel Jackson in the movie Django: Unchained in the race protected enclaves in the black communities and who have so far destroyed the black youth with the mentality of victimization.

Yes the doctor is sometimes a house slave by appearing on Fox News including the Hannity show. He is smart enough however to say he did not want to tell anyone who he really votes for.
