Neither. For all we know, several of the kids, or hell, all of them, could have the same father. Not announcing to the world who fathered your children has nothing to do with promiscuity only with privacy. Even if they all had different fathers, we have no idea how many men she's slept with - nor is it our business as long as everyone was happily consenting.

In regards to women being called sluts, I would say that women are way more guilty of calling eachother sluts instead of men doing it. For example, I remember in college I told a couple of these girls that I was gonna hang out with a certain sorority that night and they immediately said "Seriously? But they are all sluts!" This is just one example. I have heard in my day so many other times where women have called other women "sluts". From what I've witnessed, it seems that women call eachother that waaaay more than men would say it to women.
The poll was more about what made men think a woman was promiscuous. I think the whole concept of "how many" is silly in the first place, but I wondered if you all thought that there was a "magic number."
I think the conversation is totally unnecessary and I choose not to enter into it. Theres never a good outcome, it always leads to judgement one way or another. I couldn't care less how many women a man has slept with, and I'd rather not be defined by the number of people I've slept with. Judge me by your experience of me. I know I'm a quality person, I'm happy with my morality and sensibility.. My 'number' means little.
Ties into this whole idea of sexuality being sinful. We're so conditioned to believe that sex is bad.
