The personal ads on this site (especially the female ads) draw the most traffic and take up most of my time by far. The forums come next, followed by the adult areas, and then chat. The forum appears busier because you can see the activity. The reason you see so many "offbeat" ads is because folks with those interests usually get a lot of flack in the forums, and so most have moved to the personals. From personal experience, and feedback from some of my friends, I can say that the personals do work. I've also heard from folks who have met and married through the personals over the years. The new personals software will allow flirts and provide an on-site private mailbox. I'd like to know whether forum members want to be automatically submitted into the new software, or if you all would rather sign-up accounts on your own - like it is now. Once it's installed and operational, new sign-ups will be added to both - forums and personals.
