Well guys..... it appears as though i'm back at square one, and that's being single again. ***sigh*** I won't go into details about it, but things didn't quite go as planned with me and alessa, so we split. It sucked at first, but there are so many attractive women in the world, and so i just have to go and find one for myself! :wink: I'm not so sure where to look (as you all know that i've tried the internet thing numerous times before with mixed to borderline poor results) but one things for sure, my attraction for caucasian girls has finally stabilized (meaning that i'm totally sure that that's the direction i want to go), and so i'm definitely happy about that. When i first got to this site, i was a little skittish about that, and about everything else, but i'm just really glad to report that my desire to date interracially is definitely here to stay, and you guys, along with this site, helped me tremendously with that, and so i just wanted to say thanks. :wink:

Welcome back... :smt039 and, I hate to say 'I told you so about the Internet', but instead, I'll just greet you with my condolences. Life isn't fair, ya know, but hang in there.
Bryant, Take this as an opportunity to "yell from the mountaintop". It does not suck to be single. Sure, you'll have the blues at times, but there's nothing more liberating than being alone. No worries. No BS. No drama. No nothing. The moment you embrace your singlehood, the better you'll be. Learn to thrive without women. Take some time for yourself, spend time with close friends and family. Treat yourself to things you enjoy. Resist the urge to "troll" dating sites because you're alone and frustrated. I'm certain that you're in a good place right now. And you're right: There are plenty of attractive women in the world. Billions of them. The only problem: What else do they have to offer aside from their beauty? Don't get caught in that trap, because unfortunately, it's all many women have to offer. A "complete" and "healthy" woman isn't part of the majority, but is a minority. Thus, it will require patience and time to encounter these types.
Is the Internet really a bad place for meeting people for relationships? If anything, it allows people to be more creative with their poor character and other unhealthy traits. Consider it this way: Regardless of how we meet people, the end result is the same: Their human. I think the results are similar to those offline, because a lot of people are full of shit. That's reality. The goal is to develop a sharp focus on one's character and actions. When people aren't aligning to what they say vs. what they do, then you know it's time to bail. It took me 11 years or so to reach this point -- and yes, I've paid a dear price for this new knowledge. However, eventually, the payback will be worth it. I'm just glad to finally see people for what they are.

Thanks Ron and Sardonic for all of the really great advice and support. I was actually thinking about leaving the site for good, but i thought to myself, those guys over there are like family, and i always really enjoy the insightful conversation with everyone, so i just had to stay. you guys are gonna be stuck with me for a little while longer. haha :wink:
Bry, It happens to us all and it ain't always easy but you know what? You learn and you move on to a better place. No rights. No wrongs. Just a chance to learn and grow. I'm glad you came back. 8)

I am so sorry to hear that y'all split up and it is with deep heartedness i express my condolence. :cry: This one might have gone wrong but always remember that everything happens for a reason and this is a learning experience. But for now, it seems like someone is available on the free market. 8) Enjoy the single life, my friend. Nothing compares to it. I mean, i am thrilled at having the love of my life but i try my best not to remember the single days; it makes me wanna go back. So enjoy it, mi amigo.
Hey Bryant, I'm sorry to hear about you and Allessandra. I appreciate the fact that neither of you have slam threads about each other here. (believe me.. it happens!) It won't be long and you'll find someone special.... I know it.
Sucks to hear about the split man but I'd take full advantage of it tho and use it to work on some things.
I'm so sorry to hear that Alessa and Bryant Split ups are never easy and I hope that the heart-ache will ease soon. And I also hope that none of you will leave this board!!!!
