IKR! Part of me thinks that their laughter initially confused him, and possibly (given his ego) totally flew over his head. The laughter (both times) spoke volumes. I didn't see Fox News' coverage, but I heard that they edited out the laughing part.

Absolutely! In my last back-and-forth with a Trumpster... The Trumpster said the garbage about how blacks are supposedly doing much better under this president. I simply told him... I see today's situation (in terms of unemployment numbers, markets etc), and I refuse to see this president as any sort of savior as I'm aware of the economy he inherited. Also, that most of us have a vivid memory of the economy now, 1/2017, and both 48 and 96 months prior. Of course most anti-Obama folks (including Trump) totally ignored and/or disputed an important thing like the unemployment rate until this POTUS came along.

Despite his all shenaneganis, antics, short comings....it appears Trump might be winning his 2nd term. I am yet to see who is going to unsit him. Don't see anyone: Cory Booker, Uncle Joe and Harris could try all they want but the Trumpster will stick by him no matter what and they are going in to poll booth with droves to put him back in the oval office.

Not if he tanks the economy and trust me he will.

Man the prediction was we were going to see the economy crashing worse than the 1929 depression era by late August and September but here we are mid October and NO major issues. I dunno but it looks like Trump is going to skate all the way to 1600 Pennsylvania avenue, unless he gets bored and decide not to run

Just because it's a slow time coming doesn't mean its not coming. The reason you haven't seen anything has a lot more to do with the economy created under Obama and the stock buy backs. Don't fall under the complacency spell my friend.

I've discussed this topic with a friend, and he is convinced that the only way to assure a victory over Trump in 2020 is to run a white male candidate against him. Because it would undercut a big part of Trump's strategy of using the fear of a loss of (white male) power to energize his base. The thinking is that it will be easier for scared white people to accept the Democratic platform if the message is coming from a relatable face.

No I work in finance and see the signs. Every economist agrees. You don't see the signs?

So you are not financially benefitting from the economy or are you struggling in it?

I've benefited but I can look beyond my personal circumstances and see how it effects others and the country as a whole keeping 20 percent more of my money doesn't mean much if infrastructure is rotten and the people around me can't buy goods and services

Then l'm assuming you are taking that 20% extra you've luckily benefited from the economy and donating it all to those whom you say can't survive already without the plethora of assistance available today.

If it suddenly goes against your morals and principles to benefit from a booming economy (btw, you speak after-the-fact after you've probably paid off some bills with it), then you should vigorously lobby to ensure others do not profit from it either. Why should they make better income? It's just not right.

Do you see an alternative socialist view other than this one of yours?

yeah I support democratic progressive candidates. And even if I didn't again just because I've benefited doesn't mean I can't call out the problem especially since I was against it from the jump. It was done without my support. You sound like one of those people who think football players should just up play because they make money in the U.S.

Well then, there is no plausible reason you can provide as to why you should benefit.

There is no such thing as a millionaire socialist.

So it should be that there is a set income that can be reached by everyone of you socialists.

Let's say a maximum income of $50,000. If you produce additional income over that $50,000, 100% of it should go to fellow socialist until they also reached the $50,000 level, and so forth, and so forth.

Until that happens, then you can increase the income amount that you are allowed to earn for yourself, to keep. And then it starts all over again.

Does that sound fair for you? You should lobby for it.

Right there with you I literally have no clue what she just said.

Bliss its funny people like you only have that energy when we're talking about everyday people but cutting taxes on people who already pay next to nothing while pushing the tax burden on people who have less to begin doesn't raise an eyebrow. Increasing military spending and possible unnecessary war is ok but if someone suggests we relieve the pressure on those who spend and keep the economy going then we're talking Stalin era socialism.
How about I lobby for a fair tax system where the incredibly wealthy actually put their fair share into the pot. I don't honestly don't get why people like yourself aren't outraged by this tax bill
