Wasn’t expecting to see this kind of thread…but I’ll say that I really love white women who aren’t woke. I don’t have to deal with them apologizing for their race or shilling black folks (I have a strong hatred for that stuff).

Exactly, I don't see how you sleep with someone without similar values. I guess I fall under being "woke". I would never date a maga guy.

"Non-woke" people operate on strictly emotions, mainly negative emotions. There is no rational thought or logic behind the things they do or believe in. That's why anything they become involved with on any level becomes nothing but chaos & ends in destruction. But that's just been my own personal observations & experiences with those types of individuals.

Having done this it's a very interesting if not strange dynamic. Those topics were almost never brought up. Even with insane chemistry as we had it's at best a situationship and at worst a volcano about to blow.

Would never do it again though. Lol

Never compromise on the following, especially when it comes to dating someone who is supposed to value you as a person and not as a fetish:

    1. Human Rights
    2. Human decency
    3. Science
    4. Reality

It is amusing how the word "woke" has been hijacked as though it is a form of perversion, and not simply being the opposite of asleep. Acknowledging systemic and social ills should not be a cause for reactionary uproar. Rather, further confront the horrors that befell society, especially a nation that prides itself on certain values, if you desire to continue progressing life forward.

I would argue that, if you are planning on dating a white woman who tends to be dismissive of confronting injustices, unless it effects them directly, then is it really worth pursuing a relationship with someone who could potentially weaponise their own privileges to put you six feet under, if you go astray?

Personal observation & food for thought: Many of the self proclaimed non woke individuals who like to dabble with IR are also the individuals with all the weird IR fetishes or racial hang ups. Some instants it's both.

You may not be a social justice warrior, but if you are in an IR relationship, you should at a minimum be committed to the equality of all human beings.

The increased prominence of certain black conservatives and the political awareness that is part and parcel of the African-American experience in this country has me thinking about this topic more frequently than ever.

Look at both who is elevating these so called prominent black conservatives and the primary audience that they are speaking for/to. It's not Black folks. Same with other non-white conservatives. They are chasing honorary white status. And we are currently seeing how that's playing out for those individuals who subscribe to that particular mindset.

As I've pointed out in various threads one can't be anti-black and/or misogynistic and be in a healthy, functioning & lasting IR relationship. Negative plus negative equals a larger negative.

I don't expect a ww to be pro black nor do I want you to be. I expect a ww to be herself but respectful to any issues I may face. If you don't understand it I expect you to learn why I may face issues or the plight.

I'm a white woman and have always loved black man. I am and always have been very conservative and am.most certainly not woke. I'm also most certainly not a prostitute or promiscuous nor am I ashamed of being white as some stereotype white women that are in relationships with black men as being.

The only men I've had seen. With are my current husband and my first husband. I am actually very against prostitution, porn, and promiscuity and am proud of being white. I believe only married couples should have sec with each other. In fact the reason me and my first husband divorced was because he was having sex with other women abd wanted me to have threesomes with him and other white women. Even though he knows how strongly I'm against that. I refused and he wouldn't accept that. Si we divorced. Fortunately my current husband is very conservative like i an, has most of the same beliefs as I do, and would never do what my first husband did.

I think a person can very well have a conservative view on morality, finances, etc and be personally reserved in terms of their conduct, but I do feel that some of the other ideas that travel on the conservative end of the political spectrum are more problematic, particularly in terms of race. I don't see how someone could subscribe to those sorts of ideas and be in a healthy interracial relationship.

They can't & don't have healthy relationships whether IR or not. It's couples bonding due to their shared racism/anti-blackness, misogyny, homosexual and or transphobia and their belief in a "Christian Nation". The belief in "Christian Nationalism" ties all the other hatred & fear of others into what they believe is a valid moral identity. Nothing healthy or positive ever comes from people who live their lives motivated by hatred & fear. Still waiting on anyone who lives their lives that way to prove me wrong but I'm not holding my breath while doing it.

Yes indeed! Such beliefs of conservative,Christian nationalism, etc have no place in lR. The couples like Clarence Thomas and Virginia Lamp are just oblivious in their support of such groups. The conservative groups fought tooth and nail to suppress Black males from having a relationship with White women from chatal slavery to today. The punishments towards Black males are endless and it won't cease.

This history makes conservatism problematic for those involved in interracial relationships. You don’t have to be a leftist, but a conservative? Come on.
